Two arrested after drugs found inside apartment

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police arrested two people for narcotics after responding to a disturbance on Wednesday afternoon.

LPD said the call came in around 4:15 p.m. and officers responded to the 400 Block of Honor Drive.

Officers made contact with the residents, who let them inside the apartment, but denied any disturbance had occurred, police said.

While inside, officers observed a plastic baggie containing suspected meth, a metal spoon with residue, a glass smoking pipe, and syringes.

The suspects, Daisy Bacon, 39, and Mickel Burgess, 58, attempted to conceal the items but were instead were arrested and lodged in jail.
