Western Nebraska Regional Airport reaches goal ahead of schedule

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - The Western Nebraska Regional Airport reaches its goal of 10,000 boardings for the year while ahead of schedule.

With the success of this past weekend, Assistant Airport Director Cheryl Clause says they are now expecting to finish the month of October with over 1,350 boardings.

The airport was hoping to reach 10,000 by the end of the year and with two more months to go they have set a new goal of 12,000 boardings for 2018.

As of Sunday the airport has 10,076.
