LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - If you aren't busy getting things done for the holidays, then why not enjoy the weekend with some fun events.

Here's this week's Friday Fast Facts put together by the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The Weary World Rejoices- An Abendmusik Christmas
Bring the whole family and hear the Christmas story through inspirational lessons and magnificent song. Open your heart to the hope and joy that the season promises to bring.
When: Friday- 7 p.m., Sunday- 4 p.m.
Where: First-Plymouth Church
Cost: Free concert- Freewill offering

Catherland
Susan, an emerging writer, is living the life of her dreams. She soon finds herself relocating with her husband from Chicago to Red Cloud, Nebraska, the childhood home of novelist Willa Cather. Through a series of unexpected circumstances and surprise guests, she discovers that where there is great love, there are many miracles.
When: Friday & Saturday- 7:30 p.m., Sunday- 2 p.m.
Where: TADA Theatre
Cost: $20 assigned seating, $10 student, $17 OLLI Member

The Book of Mormon
These guys can't wait to say hello to you. The 9x Tony Award-winning Best Musical, The Book of Mormon, is here. You don't want to miss the show The New York Times calls "the best musical of the century." The performance contains explicit language.
When: Friday- 7:30 p.m., Saturday- 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m., Sunday- 1:30 p.m. & 7 p.m.
Where: Lied Center for Performing Arts

Wreaths Across America Wreath Laying Ceremony
Be a part of the National Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony. This is a great way to honor our fallen veterans and remember those who are currently serving. The ceremony will have a keynote speaker, singing of the National Anthem and a 21-gun salute. The public will be asked to assist in the wreath laying on the graves of veterans.
When: Saturday- 11 a.m.
Where: Wyuka Cemetery at Soldiers Circles
Cost: Free

Nebraska Women's Basketball vs. Denver
Come out and show the Huskers your support as they take on the Denver Pioneers.
When: Saturday- 4:30 p.m.
Where: Pinnacle Bank Arena
Cost: $15 reserved admission, $10 general admission, $5 youth and seniors

Love, The Locals- Winter Edition
Love, The Locals is a locally born and curated shopping event featuring over 50 local artists and makers. Come spend the day shopping, listening to local live music, food trucks and sample some brews from Zipline Brewing Co. Come support LOCAL this holiday season and feel great about giving back to our community.
When: Sunday- noon to 5 p.m.
Where: The Bay
Cost: $5 adults, fee for youth 18 & under, items for purchase
