Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show
This tremendous show lets you talk with many businesses under one roof, so you can get your home projects quoted and scheduled. You’ll find nearly 300 businesses that offer services for making your home and garden just a little bit nicer.
When: Friday, 1 to 9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Lancaster Event Center
Cost: $8 adults, free for youth 12 & under, $1 off admission with a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank of Lincoln.
Nebraska Men's Tennis
The men’s tennis team will be in full swing with a three-match weekend. On Saturday, they will play Denver and then a rivalry doubleheader on Sunday. First up, the Huskers will battle Omaha at noon and at 5pm they’ll take on Creighton. Go Big Red.

Herbal Remedies: Hops Tincture Making
Join clinical herbalist, Alex Svoboda, in this hands-on demonstration of herbal tincture making. Tinctures are a concentrate herbal extract. Participants will create and take home their own herbal remedy.
When: Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m.

Messier's Marvels Star Party
Come and explore some of the biggest, brightest or otherwise significant Messier objects in the sky. Bring the entire family!
When: Saturday, 8 to 11 p.m.
Where: Branched Oak Observatory
19th Annual Abraham Lincoln Birthday Celebration
The Lincoln Municipal Band will perform a patriotic concert at 2 p.m. The Annual Abraham Lincoln Birthday Celebration will have activities before and after the concert, including historical displays, kids’ games and crafts. Also, enjoy some free refreshments, including birthday cake.
When: Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
