LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - If you are looking for some things to do during this first full weekend of spring, the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau has you covered.

Here's a look at a number of events in this week's Friday Fast Facts.

Lincoln Children's Zoo Opening Weekend
The countdown is on and the animals have been missing you. The original portion of the zoo will open on Friday with the expansion experiences including giraffes, tigers and spider monkeys opening in May. Bring the whole family out for a day at the zoo.
When: Friday through Sunday- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Lincoln Children's Zoo
Cost: $9.95 adults (13-61), $8.95 children (2-12), seniors (62 & over), free for zoo members and children 1 and under

Cornhusker Classic Tractor Pull
Hold on to your seat. There will be a lot of power, a lot of noise and a lot of non-stop pulling action. It's two days and four big sessions of high horsepower intensity.
When: Friday & Saturday- 12 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Where: Lancaster Event Center
Cost: $20 adults (12 & older), $5 youth (6-11 years old), free for youth 5 & under, 4 session passes are available

Great Plains Game Festival
Don't miss out on Lincoln's largest board gaming event of the year. With over 1,000 board games, this festival is perfect for those who enjoy gaming.
When: Friday- 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday- 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., Sunday- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Live Happy Celebration
March 20 is the International Day of Happiness. Join the celebration with the third annual Live Happy Celebration. There will be interactive performances and entertainment every hour on the hour, speakers, a craft station and more.
When: Saturday- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

UNL Men's Gymnastics
The Huskers are ready to take on Michigan during the last home meet of the season. Bring the whole family out because this is one they will flip for.
When: Saturday- 1:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 adult general admission, $3 youth and senior GA

Journey of the Magical Peach
Come along on this wondrous trip as you follow the story of James and his Journey of the Magical Peach. This theatrical ballet will feature whimsy and fun as each ballet class tells the story, along with the cast of featured dancers.
When: Sunday- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
