Wintry conditions headed through Lincoln on Thursday

LINCOLN, Neb. – On the first day of Winter, a freezing drizzle is making its way through Lincoln.

Later in the night Thursday, more freezing drizzle, possibly mixed with some light snow, could be lining the streets of the Capital City.

The chilly and wet weather arrived in Lincoln around 12 p.m, and could continue through most of the evening and into the night.

Snowfall accumulation will likely be just a trace across much of Eastern and South Central Nebraska, but ice accumulation around .05 inches is also possible.

The wet conditions could make for slick sidewalks and roadways.
