UPDATE: Woman in stable condition after hit-and-run near UNL's City Campus

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- UPDATE: Friday 12/7/18

A condition update has been released for the woman who was injured in a hit-and-run near the UNL City Campus.

As of Friday morning, Lincoln Police said the 20-year-old woman's injuries are no longer considered life-threatening. She is now in stable condition.

Police said she's expected to be moved out of the ICU soon.

She was hit by a white van at Antelope Valley and O St. around 5:30 Wednesday night. The van took off and police don't have any suspects.

The only description they have is that the van is white.

A 20-year-old woman has life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a van near University of Nebraska - Lincoln City Campus on Wednesday night.

Lincoln Police said the woman was hit by a van near Antelope Valley Parkway and O Street.

She remains in critical condition.

A witness told authorities the van was turning at a normal speed when it hit the woman before speeding away.

The van has not been located as of Thursday morning.
