Woman taken into custody after causing disturbance outside Lincoln elementary

LINCOLN, Neb. – A 27-year-old woman was taken into protective custody and arrested after she caused disturbances at the Lincoln City/County Building and Lincoln West Elementary.

LPD said on Thursday around 1:30 p.m., Jennifer Lopez, 27, caused disturbances at multiple locations in Lincoln, before being contacted by police at Lincoln West Elementary.

She refused to leave the area, police said, and was taken into protective custody.

She was also arrested for disturbing the peace.
