LINCOLN, Neb. – A Lincoln brewery is offering free beer to those employees not getting paid due to the government shutdown.
Zipline Brewing Company, in what they are calling Growler Relief Act of 2019, is offering free beer to furloughed workers every Friday as long as the shutdown is active.
Zipline is offering the deal all day on Fridays, and all that is need is one form of ID proving the customers is a federal employee.
Friday marks the first payday that has come and gone for furloughed workers since the shutdown has begun.
Zipline is located near West O Street and Highway 77 in Lincoln.
