In years past, Centennial used a run-based offense. That's changing in 2016. The Broncos have implemented an up-tempo, no-huddle attack.
Centennial head coach Evan Klanecky says his team's practice routine has drastically changed during the preseason. The players are in great shape and adapting to the new scheme. Centennial is hoping to improve on its average of 104 passing yards from last season. Klanecky still hopes to still have balance in his offense and not completely abandon the running game.
Centennial returns starters at 14 positions from last year's 5-4 team. Wyatt Ehlers will be the Broncos quarterback after starting all 9 games as a freshman. He looks forward to unveiling the Broncos' new offense on August 26th in the season opener. "We're moving faster," Ehlers said. "We're working hard and things are on the up-and-up."
