Alford adds new dimension to Lincoln High offense

Averaging 45 points per game, Lincoln High boasts one of the state's top offenses again. However, the Links are finding new ways to consistently find the end zone this season.

LHS has leaned on its ground game more this fall than a year ago. Part of that is due to the emergence of Isaiah Alford, a bruising, hard-nosed senior running back. Alford currently leads Class A with 23 touchdowns.

Alford is also a standout wrestler. In February, he won a state championship while going 44-0. Alford is committed to wrestle in college at Nebraska.
