The New England Patriots defeated the LA Rams 13-3 in a defensive slugfest in Super Bowl LIII. The game's lone touchdown came on a 4th quarter touchdown run by Patriots rookie Sony Michel.

Former Nebraska I-Back Rex Burkhead played a big role in the Patriots' victory. Burkhead had 7 carries for 43 yards. He added 15 yards on two catches, as well.

The Rams' only score was a 53-yard field goal by Lincoln Pius X grad Greg Zuerlein.
