LINCOLN, Neb. — The Class C2 title game started the final day of high school football for the 2018 season, and what a way to start the day.
Centennial and Norfolk Catholic both played well in what was a thrilling game that went to overtime.
Each team scored in the extra frame, but Centennial made the gutsy call to go for the two-point conversion instead of kicking the field goal to tie, and it paid off.
Centennial is the Class C2 state champion with a 29-28 win.
