LINCOLN, Neb. Nebraska Wesleyan senior Cooper Cook is writing his own chapter in the history books at NWU. Cook's father, Kevin, was part of two Final Four teams in the 1980s with the Prairie Wolves as Cooper is following his father's footsteps with a great career at NWU.

Cooper Cook, NWU senior, "It's a really cool thing to go to the same school as him, it wasn't always really my first choice but I ended up here and wouldn't have it any other way and just be able to share memories with him and get back to the Final Four."

Dale Wellman, NWU head coach, "I think what he gets from his dad is the hard work. His dad was a hard worker when it came to basketball and has been successful since graduation and that's what I see in Coop."

Cook's mother played volleyball at NWU and his sister also played basketball for the Prairie Wolves.

Nebraska Wesleyan plays at Coe on Wednesday.
