York standout Brady Danielson could've played either basketball or football in college. He choose his number one passion, hoops - a decision he finalized on Tuesday. Danielson signed his National Letter of Intent with Northern State, a Division-II school in South Dakota.
Danielson is a sharp-shooting guard who helped the Dukes to a state championship in 2018. Many remember his 15-point fourth quarter outburst in the Class B Final. Danielson scored 12 consecutive points late in the game to lead the Dukes' comeback victory.
The multi-sport star says he was set on playing basketball in college until an offer to join the Nebraska football program as a walk-on. Danielson admits he reconsidered his college path, but feels at peace with his final decision.
"Basketball has been my number one passion," Danielson said. "I remember playing in the driveway. Thinking about that, basketball has always been my number one sport."
