Doane's Tupper leads NAIA in Field Goal Percentage

CRETE, Neb. Doane sophomore Trace Tupper leads the NAIA in field goal percentage and is second in all of college basketball. The Lincoln Northeast grad is averaging 13.4 ppg.

"When he's not crowded, he's going to make every shot so it's a work in progress but I'm very proud of him for how he's developed and bought in and the sky's the limit for him. He could be an All-American here in the next couple of years at Doane and he's worth coming to watch for sure," said Doane head coach Ian McKeithen.

Tupper is 94-123 from the field for a 76.4 percentage.

Tupper, "I really don't take jumpshots or anything thing else out of the paint. Most of the shots are dunks and layups and I assume they go in."

Doane hosts Dordt at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5th.
