Moos waiting to evaluate men's basketball program

CHICAGO, Ill Despite another great effort, the Nebraska men's basketball team fell in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament 66-60 to Wisconsin on Friday afternoon.

Senior Glynn Watson Jr. led Nebraska with 23 points. The Huskers now await a possible NIT offer.

Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moos released a statement following the game saying, “We will await Sunday’s announcement to see if we receive an invitation to participate in the NIT. Once our season is completed, my evaluation of our men’s basketball program will draw to a close.”
