Huskers honor Foltz and Sadler during pregame ceremony

LINCOLN, Neb. — Saturday was an emotional day for the Huskers, and not just because it was Senior Day.

Before Saturday's game against Michigan State, the Huskers honored the seniors, and also held a ceremony for Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler.

The game was the first time Nebraska and Michigan State have played since the tragic accident that killed Foltz, a former punter for the Huskers, and Sadler, a former Spartans punter.

The Foltz and Sadler families met at midfield with coaches and players from both teams, honoring the late punters.

Scott Frost and a few Husker players hugged the families and briefly chatted in what was an emotional and touching tribute to two men that were loved and known more for their off-the-field acts and kindness than they were for their actual football performances.

At the end of Saturday's ceremony, the group took a big picture together at the end of the ceremony. You can see pictures and video from it below.
