Jervay Green committed to play for Tim Miles. Fred Hoiberg will be his coach at Nebraska instead. Green, after reconsidering his college choice, recently re-affirmed his decision to join the Huskers. After Miles' firing, Green said he was 'angry' and posted on Twitter 'Decisions, Decisions...' With his future uncertain, several Division-I programs pursued Green, including Kansas.
Hoiberg visited the JUCO standout in Scottsbluff the day after being introduced at Nebraska. He expressed Green's potential value in Nebraska's new offensive system. The Denver native averaged nearly 24 points at Western Nebraska Community College last season.
