Martinez improving, remains day-to-day

Adrian Martinez has practiced this week, but is no guarantee to play on Saturday when the Huskers travel to Michigan. The freshman quarterback will be a game-time decision, according to Nebraska's coaches.

"We'll see on Saturday how he's feeling," offensive coordinator Troy Walters said. "We're going against a good defense. We don't want to put him in any harm or danger."

Martinez did not play in the Huskers' 24-19 loss to Troy. Instead, Andrew Bunch made his first career start, completing 19-of 27 passes.

"If its Adrian, its Adrian. If its Andrew, its Andrew," Walters said. "We feel like we can win with either of those two guys."
