Nebraska Wesleyan caught fire in the first half of the ARC Semifinals. The Prairiewolves made 13-of-19 3-point attempts while building a comfortable 20-point lead. But a furious Simpson College comeback attempt forced NWU to hang on at Snyder Arena. The Storm got within 3 points late in the game.

Nebraska Wesleyan was led by Jack Hiller's 19 points. Four other NWU players scored in double-figures. The Prairiewolves were without starting point guard Nate Schimonitz, who averages a team-best 16 points per game.

NWU will play Loras College in the ARC Championship on Saturday. The game is scheduled for 7:00pm at Snyder Arena.
