LINCOLN, Neb. — Top-ranked Nebraska Wesleyan's 30-game winning streak looked like it was about to end Monday night, but a monster second half extended it, once again.
The Prairie Wolves shot just 1-17 from three-point range in the first half, and went into halftime trailing Dubuque by four points.
But NWU got hot in the second half, hitting nine three-pointers. Cooper Cook led NWU with 16 points and 9 rebounds, and the Prairie Wolves won 69-54 to extend the winning streak to 31 games.
