OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok Oklahoma State rallied from five runs down to beat Nebraska 6-5 on Saturday night in the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskers looked to be in the driver's seat going into the 9th inning as the Big Red lead Oklahoma State, 5-2. However, the Cowboys rallied to score four runs in the 9th and take a 6-5 lead and held on.
Nebraska will now play UCONN on Sunday at noon in an elimination game.
The Big Red was led by Matt Waldron on the mound as the senior was sensational with 11 strikeouts in 7.2 innings.
Aaron Palensky got the Huskers on the board with a 3-run home run to give Nebraska a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Colby Gomes added two runs in the third inning extending Nebraska's lead to 5-0.
