Seward ready for York rematch

Three weeks ago, Seward nearly had a landmark win. The Bluejays led defending champion and district rival York 40-36 with less than a minute remaining. As the clock ticked down, the Dukes drove the field and scored the game-winning TD with 8 seconds left.

"I remember the hurt; the pain," Seward head coach Jaime Opfer said. "We had a chance to win at the end, but the ultimately came back to win. (Now), Its just 'Let's finish.'"

Seward players say they remember that game well, despite the result. They say it was hard not to notice a potential rematch when the brackets were first released.

"We hope to get them this time," Seward quarterback Joseph Krause said.
