Jessica Shepard has scored more than 2,300 points over her college basketball career. She played her first two seasons before transferring to Notre Dame. With the Fighting Irish, Shepard won an NCAA championship in 2018. UND is back in the Final Four and hoping to go back-to-back.

"We can't look back on what happened last year," Shepard said. "Its a whole new year." As a senior, Shepard averages 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Fighting Irish, who carries a 34-3 record into the national semifinals.

Notre Dame plays UConn on Friday at 8:00 pm (CDT).

Before college, Shepard was a Parade All-American in high school and four-time member of the All-State team. Shepard played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Lincoln Southeast High School. She transferred to Fremont for her final two prep seasons when her father accepted a superintendent job.
