Solich returns to receive Tom Osborne Legacy Award

Fifteen years after his firing from Nebraska, Frank Solich is back in the Cornhusker State. Solich will receive the Tom Osborne Legacy Award in Omaha on Wednesday. For Solich, the trip back to Nebraska is taking him on a trip down memory lane.

Solich coached the Huskers from 1998 to 2003. He was fired following a 10-win season, which is still debated across the fan base today. Solich says he has fond memories of coaching at Nebraska and he thinks of his Husker tenure often. Solich is currently the head coach at Ohio University, where he's spent the past 14 seasons.
