The University of Nebraska at Kearney Chancellor Doug Kristensen announced today the elimination of 15 positions in an effort to meet a $2.8 million budget cut outlined and affirmed today by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
The attempted murder case against Grand Island teenager Keann Flores has been moved to juvenile court. Prosecutors are appealing in an effort to get the case moved back to adult court. Flores is accused of stabbing another teenager in September 2019.

Two Rivers Public Health Department has identified the first travel related case of COVID-19 in the district. This individual is a Buffalo County female in her 40s who has minor symptoms and is currently self-isolated at home.
