The Nebraska volleyball team opened the 2022 NCAA Tournament with a dominant sweep of Delaware State Thursday night at the Devaney Center. The No. 2 seed Huskers never trailed in the match and won each set by double digits.
Juwan Gary scored a season-high 17 points, as Nebraska used a key second-half run and a strong defensive effort in the final 20 minutes to defeat Arkansas Pine-Bluff, 82-58, on Sunday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Patriots play in the Class D6 State Championship on Friday, which will be the school’s first finals appearance in football. Parkview Christian plays Pawnee City at 7:00 p.m. at Cope Stadium in Kearney.
