Table tennis is a popular sport at the Cornhusker State Games.
Last weekend, approximately a hundred people competed in the event at Goodrich Middle School in Lincoln. 75 year old Roger Trumper guesses he's competed in about 15 Cornhusker State Games. He's won ten gold medals in the 60 and over age division. Roger plays at least once a week and never goes on vacation without his paddle.
"It's just one of those things you can play your whole lifetime," said Trumper. "And it's good for you. It makes you think. It makes you get your mind working and that's something all of us older people have to try to find ways to keep themselves active mentally and physically."
