PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - A strip club in the Portland area could be closing in the near future to make way for a popular fast-food restaurant.

According to city planning records, a Chick-fil-A restaurant is in the works to possibly take over a near-acre site located within the Portland metro area at 9950 SE Stark Street.

The Venue Gentlemen’s Club, which was built in 1984, currently is located at the site, but a permit is proposing future changes.

Records state that the building would be demolished and replaced by a new structure for the fast-food chicken chain.

The proposed restaurant would be almost 5,000 square feet with 98 indoor seats and 12 patio seats. It would also be the first Chick-fil-A to be located inside the Portland city limits.
