Nebraska women’s basketball to play Louisville in NCAA Tournament

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Women’s Basketball will play Louisville in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Huskers earned a 10-seed while Louisville is the 7-seed in Regional Three.

Nebraska versus Louisville will take place on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas, the host site for the round of 64 and round of 32. This is the 2nd consecutive year that Nebraska has qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

Amy Williams has now led the Huskers to 4 NCAA Tournaments in her 9 seasons at the helm. In 2024, Nebraska won in the first round of Tournament against Texas A&M before falling in the round of 32 versus Oregon State. This season Nebraska has a 21-11 record and went 10-8 in conference play.
